ɑ,ω-Bis-Pyridyldithio PEGs
This linear bifunctional crosslinking reagent reacts selectively with free sulfhydryl (-SH) groups at a wide pH range (pH = 3-10). The newly formed disulfide (S-S) bond is unstable in a reducing environment. Thus, the bond can be cleaved to release the free thiols.
